Gastroenterology (GI) and Artificial Intelligence State of the Art Conference 2019

  

In collaboration with the US FDA and NIH, the Mayo Clinic has organized a state of art conference on AI in GI. During the conference, the current state of art and key scientific questions and funding priorities were discussed among key academic, and government/regulatory leaders. 

Dr. Michael Bryne and Dr. Doug Rex joined the faculty at the meeting and presented to key academic, industry and regulatory representatives regarding AI applications in GI.

NOSCAR Summit - 2019

  

Natural Orifice Translumenal Endoscopic Surgery (NOTES)® might represent the next major advancement in minimally invasive therapy. To address this emerging technology, a working group consisting of expert laparoscopic surgeons from SAGES and a group of expert interventional endoscopists representing ASGE have joined together as the Natural Orifice Surgery Consortium for Assessment and Research (NOSCAR) Working Group on (NOTES)®.

Dr. Michael Bryne was invited to join the faculty at the NOSCAR Summit and gave a talk on “Future Applications of AI in Flexible Endoscopy” on July 12, 2019.

Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2019 – AGA Council Key-note Lecture

Dr. Michael Byrne has been invited by the AGA council to deliver a lecture on Computer aided diagnosis of colorectal polyps

Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2018 – ASGE Council State-of-the-Art Lecture

Satisfai attended DDW 2018 in Washington DC, the largest annual conference in Gastroenterology, where Dr Michael Byrne presented some of the latest work from the ai4gi group, and also  delivered an invited state-of-the-art lecture on “advanced endoscopic imaging in 2018” to the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE)

Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2018 – WEO Computer Aided Polyp Diagnosis

Dr. Michael Byrne gave a lecture to the Image Enhanced Endoscopy (IEE) working group of the CRC screening committee which is part of the World Endoscopy Organization.
